The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that paving is scheduled at night on U.S. 1 in Bensalem and Middletown townships under a $116 million project to reconstruct, widen, and improve a three-mile section of U.S. 1 in Bucks County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Sunday, August 3, through Friday, August 8, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, lane closures will be in place on U.S. 1 in both directions between Fairhill Avenue and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Interchange.
The work is part of PennDOT’s U.S. 1/RC2 contract that will reconstruct and widen U.S. 1 from south of the Rockhill Drive Interchange to north of the Penndel/Business U.S. 1 Interchange.
